“Testing is important to identify such individuals, as they may not know they are infected. SARS-CoV-2 transmission from asymptomatic or pre-symptomatic persons can result in additional cases and potentially outbreaks of COVID-19”
Keeping Your group safe
Keeping your organization running
We need to think about how to keep our organization running and members safe because of Covid. Discovering that a member has the virus can be hard for the group, but it’s worse if they already spread it to others in the group. The virus has changed a lot for organizations, and we need to be careful.
What you don’t know will hurt you
Not knowing about Covid-19 can be harmful. If someone in your group is infected, you all could get sick or have to stay home. So, it’s important to be cautious and avoid taking risks.
Not knowing is costly
It is important to stop infected people from spreading the virus. If we don’t, it will affect our group in ways we don’t expect. So, we must take precautions and not underestimate the impact of not doing so.
Why should you proactively test your group?
Surveillance screening is the best way to ensure that infected members of your group (employees, students, staff members, business associates) do not infect other portions of your group and spread infection.
Unforeseen costs of not testing your group
if you don’t test proactively and “don’t want to know’ then you risk having an infected person in your group pass that infection to a larger population of your group. While it maybe somewhat painful to know, its better to know early than late.
Are you sure or kind of sure?
When you test for Covid, doesn’t it make sense to have the most definitive test? While every test is not perfect, a digitally sequenced test is definitive and more inherently accurate.
